help needed: solar lantern service learning project

Hello fellow AVL Makers,

I sure could use your help getting the word out about the solar lantern service learning project I'm working on. 

Middle school students assemble a solar lantern kit while learning about renewable energy. Then the students donate their solar lanterns to a local nonprofit that serves the homeless. 

I've already run a small self funded pilot of this program. I worked with 6 teachers (and their students) in 5 states. 

Now I'm raising money through a GoFundMe campaign to run a much larger pilot. I'll be sending out solar lantern kits (25 per teacher) to 80 teachers across the US in the fall of 2026. I'll collect the success stories and share them with you and the rest of the world.
