I have replaced my battery electric mower after ~15 years. The mower itself is kind of patched together many times over, but it still has a working electric motor if anyone has a hobby project for which this could be put to use.

The mower is a Neuton CE6 if you want to look it up.

Jay,

Curious / possibly interested, as I was recently looking at buying a used battery powered mower to replace my plug-in one. Is it still in a state where it can potentially be fixed up / used as a mower, or is it pretty much only good for motor salvage?

Avi,
I'm pretty sure I still have a 24 volt lawn mower that is in decent working condition except for needing batteries. It was designed to use two 12 volt lead acid batteries but I'm sure you could figure out a better battery option for it. Assuming it is where I think it is in my basement, you can have it.
