 friends,

you are invited to a film showing Monday night at 40 Congress St. we will be watching Commanding Heights--The Battle for the World Economy--  Part 3 The New Rules of the Game.

The New Rules of the Game tracks the explosive growth of the new world economy from the 1992 presidential campaign to the present. Examining the promise and the perils of the global economy, the film focuses on the story of President Bill Clinton's embrace of free trade, the threat of global contagion, the sometimes violent debate over globalization, and the issues facing the Bush Administration and the US in the 21st century. It tackles the impact of free trade on the developing world and on Americans, the sometimes perilous effects of globalized economies, and the critical questions for the future--including the challenge of bringing the world's poor into the era of global growth.

film starts at 9pm. if you drive, please park a few houses down the
hill from the house where there is plenty of parking (the neighbors
