This year, your vote is required to determine the annual Asheville Randonneurs annual award recipients.

The group sport, activity, adventure or whatever you may choose to call it must mean something to you. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here reading this.

It sure means a whole lot to me. The friendships that I have here are what gets me get out on the bike. I'm going to guess Helen Keller never rode a bike, but she still nailed it for me when she said "I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light."

We carry on the annual tradition of honoring our friends in these audacious audax events. Real friends know the value of celebrating each other's achievements and that culture is part of what makes our group special.

Please take a moment to cast your vote and honor your friends.

Awards will be delivered at the EOY party 12/13.
