Hi!  The email below came in this evening about the Girls’ Rainbow Leadership retreat.   It will be in Williamsburg Sat, Aug 9^th, returning Sun, Aug 10^th.  The price for the girls to attend is $25.00, and for prospects, parents and parents of prospects, the cost is $30.00.  This price includes all activities, Sat night’s lodging, as well as lunch and dinner Sat and breakfast Sun morning.  It’s always a lot of fun for you girls and gives you a relaxed environment to meet your Sisters from other Assemblies around the state.  The adults have a good time too, and I believe Mom J is planning some adult training during the girls’ activities.  I highly encourage all of our girls and as many adults as possible to attend.  Please note that the registration fee is due by July 23^rd to avoid the increased price.   For those attending Grand Assembly, I suggest you bring your check with you and turn it in to me so I can turn in Ashburn’s registrations together.  (Plus that’ll give me a good idea of our transportation needs for the retreat.)  For those who are not attending Grand Assembly, but would like to attend the retreat, send your check directly to Mom McLaughlin as instructed in the email below, but also send an email to me letting me know you’ve sent it. 

 

The flyer and a packing list for the retreat are attached.  Uncle Jim & I have attended the retreat for many years and always have a great time.

Virginia Rainbow Annual Retreat

3751 4-H Club Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185

August 9^th-10^th, 2014

Registration to begin at 8 am Saturday.

Must leave the premesis by 10 am Sunday.

 

Enjoy the ropes course, team building exercises, swimming pool, and more!

 

Please note that attendance has been limited this year to the following groups: 

 

$25 - Rainbow Members in Good Standing

$30 - Adult Workers and Parents of Rainbow Girls

$30 - Girls awaiting Initiation and Their Parents

 

Registration will be due to Pattie McLaughlin by July 23 -- All late registration will be $50 per person.
