FW: Installation of Officers

Hi, Everyone! We had a pretty quiet month in June, and now it is time to gear up for our new term and Grand Assembly!
Our installation of officers is next Sunday, July 6th @ 2:00 in the afternoon. This is an open installation so invite your family and friends to join us on this special day. Let’s all support Samantha as she begins her term as Worthy Advisor. Officers being installed should arrive at the lodge no later than 1:00 for a quick practice. The attire for those participating in the installation is formal gowns for the ladies and jackets and ties for the gentlemen. For everyone coming to support the assembly by attending the installation, church attire is appropriate. There will be a reception with light refreshments in the fellowship hall after the installation.
The next big activity on our agenda is Grand Assembly the weekend of July 18 - 20. I will be sending more information, such as the schedule, and a suggested packing list to those attending in the next couple of weeks.
Since our 2nd July meeting falls on the 20th, and we will just be returning from Grand Assembly, Mom Jenkins has approved canceling that meeting. Look for emails from Samantha and I about activities and events after Grand Assembly. She has a lot of ideas and fun activities planned.
