Greetings everyone!  Just a few updates from my part of the world.  For those of you in the southeastern United States, don't forget about my monthly workshops in Columbia, South Carolina.  The next one is THIS Sunday at 2pm.  The next one will be January 16th.  I'll also be teaching a special workshop on Tuesday, December 14th, in Greenville, SC, hosted by Brandy of BellyMuse.

Also, booking workshops and shows for 2011!  If you'd like to bring me to your city to teach and/or perform, send me an e-mail at ash...@asharah.com, and we'll set a date.

Don't forget: Performance consultations and virtual private lessons are always available.  Do you have questions about these services, such as how to send a video, or how to set up a virtual lesson?  Just ask!

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season, and I hope to see you on one of my many travels!

Happy dancing!

Class schedule change:

Starting January 4, I'll be adding an additional class and moving some things around. Both classes are $15 each; drop in at any time! Class cards are available. Here's the shiny new schedule:

Belly Dance Drills: Moving to TUESDAY nights from 7pm-8:15pm.
Vintage and Classic Belly Dance: Wednesday nights from 8:15pm-9:30pm.  Inspired by the classic Jamila Salimpour format, this class will cover everything from the cultural elements of Middle Eastern dance to the roots of American Tribal Style belly dance, in addition to finger cymbal playing, improvisational skills, and clean technique.
