I hope that your holiday season is starting well! I've got some news... In the coming months I'll be moving from the Washington, DC, area to Columbia, South Carolina. I'll be joining Delirium Tribal and Columbia Alternacirque, teaching weekly classes, and continuing to travel the world to teach and perform. I'm very excited about my move and new company and family in Columbia, but I will miss my DC family very much!

Performance with Delirium Tribal: Mingle and Jingle on Main Street!
Mingle & Jingle on Main is a continuation of eyewear shop Frame of Mind’s Art Series held the first Thursday of every month. The event is a holiday themed block party that will include various visual and performing artists including artists Jean Bourque, Virginia Scotchie, Stephanie Britt, Eileen Blyth, Howard Hunt and the Village Artists, and many more… and of course, Delirium Tribal! Workshop: An intro to Modern Tribal Bellydance
Come out to the Chesapeake bay for a day of dancing with Asharah and Kostana. Asharah will be teaching an introduction to her signature tribal fusion style, and Kostana will teach a workshop on foundations for Turkish 9/8 and taking Turkish Romani steps to to the stage. Although we’re still finalizing the line-up, this will be one rockin’ show. Join Asharah, Delirium Tribal, and Columbia Alternacirque for an evening of dancing, music, and mayhem. A three-day convention of dance and music! I’ll be teaching a special workshop on the Salimpour legacy and how Jamila and her daughter Suhaila have influenced and shaped tribal belly dance. Come celebrate the darker side of belly dance with a host of fabulous teachers and performers! Three days of dark and gothic-inspired performances, workshops, and of course, shopping!
