Project Aarush - Weekly Team Meeting / Nov 2nd

Greetings!

 

First of all - welcome to the newest members of Project Aarush....great to have you join the team!

 

We have a weekly work session every Saturday in Stanley Coulter - Room 179 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Usually, a reminder is sent before the session. The goal of these sessions is to meet everyone on the team, discuss latest developments, future vision - and get some work done!

 

The team has 3 components right now -

a) Content Development - Find the right educational content for consumption by children. Determine guidelines that help volunteers understand what is and isn't good content.

b) Web Development - Develop the web portal so that anyone in the world can start helping out. And obviously have a one stop shop for all educators get access to our content.  

c) Outreach - Raise awareness within and outside Purdue, campaigns and relationship management with volunteer organizations and non-profits related to child education.

 

The team is small - so we all put on different caps as per the need of the day. If someone has an interest or skill related to one area - they're most welcome to lead and develop that area further. 

 

Hoping to meet everyone this Saturday November 2nd at 4 PM @ Stanley Coulter 179.

So I figured out why we weren't able to send admin requests from the Aaursh Facebook page. As of now, the page is not open to public and was created by a user named 'Prof Aarush'. The 'Project Aarush' page is visible only to that user and only once it becomes public, we can make multiple admins. I will take care of that but before I make it active, I need the logo and a few pictures to get started. Any ideas, anyone?
