Would anyone be interested in an online repository where Ash developers can share components-systems-nodes that they've created? I think Ash is a great framework but it needs a stronger community of users to bolster it. A component-system-node repo would go a long way to growing that community.

Its a great idea tho I would hesitate as to how many people are still coding in AS3 / Ash these days..

True dat.

However there is a viable alternative to AS3 in the form of Haxe/OpenFL.

I use the Haxe port of Ash which can be found here. The cool thing with Haxe is the ability to target a multitude of platforms include iOS, Android, PC, Mac, Linux even game consoles...all using a single code base.

So, assuming we're going with the haxe port, what shape should a component-system-node repo for Ash take? Any takers?

Decided to go ahead and take a stab at building a repo of Ash-Haxe "modules" ie. collections of components/nodes/systems the devs can use in their Ash-Haxe projects.

The collection is a bit sparse at the moment but its a work in progress.

Check it out using the link below:

Feel free to fork the project and add your own modules.
