Asdays go by, the functions that can be performed on TV are becoming increasingly developed. The TV itself also supports many features, and if your personal computer is available as it is on the TV, the possibilities of what you can do will be more extensive. In addition to PC remote access and PC mirroring, you can access MS Office 365 directly and work on documents on your TV. Check out the features available in the Remote Access.

Three basic functions are available in Remote Access menu panel. It is the Remote PC that you can remotely control your PC through an IP network, Screen Sharing that mirrors a PC or smartphone connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and the Office 365 function that can be accessed directly using the TV web browser.

Remote PC function allows you to control PC from Smart TV. First of all, you need to know your PC's correct IP address, username, and password in order to use the remote PC features. Make sure your keyboard and mouse are connected to the TV, and follow the guide on how to access to your PC on the TV.

You need to make sure that the Remote Desktop setting on your PC is activated. Navigate System menu in your PC control panel, and select the Remote Desktop, then switch to activate Remote Desktop Activation.

Remote Access also comes equipped with Wi-Fi Direct, which facilitates seamless screen sharing between TVs and PCs. To share your PC's screen on your TV, or vice versa, use the on-screen instructions to adjust your setting and connect the TV to a computer using Wi-fi.

I am using a Series 7 UHD samsung TV (model: UE65TU7095U) and I am trying to use the remote access feature with my PC which is in another room. Both TV and PC are connected by etherent cable to the router.

The experience with the remote access is mostly ok, but when I try to play any video (from VLC, media player, youtube, etc) the fps are completely off, they charge slowly and one by one which makes it appear like an extreme tearing effect.

The problem is not about setting up a network or connecting the pc to the tv. The remote access works, as well as screen sharing. The problem is that while using remote access, the videos I play don't work properly. The sound is correct but the image has extreme tearing, like the frames are charged really slow.

In a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) setting, enterprise wipe can be used when someone leaves the company without properly deregistering their own smartphone. In that case, they may still be storing personal data, so just deleting the enterprise data makes more sense.

Another approach is to simply lock devices lost devices, rather than immediately deleting all stored data. Knox Guard and other MDM solutions allow IT to push notifications to the lock screen of the device with a customized message, such as a phone number to contact for anyone who finds the device.

Remote wiping is generally included with all MDM/EMM tools, so no matter which one your company is using, there is probably some level of erasure capability on employee smartphones. For corporate-owned devices, employees may naturally expect that they can be wiped at any time.

However, in the case of BYOD policies, IT admins may still have the ability to remotely wipe devices if employees are required to install an EMM/MDM agent or antimalware tools on their phone or tablet. Organizations should spell this out clearly in their BYOD policy, which employees sign before gaining access to corporate systems on their personal devices.

Keeping devices and their data truly secure requires comprehensive life cycle device management. Samsung combines device security, deployment and management in Knox Suite, which includes Knox Platform for Enterprise, Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox Manage and Knox E-FOTA in a single license with one sign-on.

I have a home NAS and while I can connect to it while I'm on my network, the whole point of it is so that I can access my files when I'm not at home. After setting up SSH Keys, I am able to connect via SSH to an SFTP Server completely fine on my PC, and even while using a 3rd party app on my phone (Termius). But when I attempt to connect with the Samsung "My Files" app, I just get the message "Can't connect. Make sure the address and other info is correct, then try again."

I guarantee that the information entered is correct, especially because, like I said, I can connect with Termius with that exact same information. There's no reason why this shouldn't be working, and it's honestly laughable that a 3rd party app has this basic functionality that Samsung is lacking. So is there something I'm possibly missing by chance, or is the Samsung app just garbage?

After doing this the SFTP client seems to work correctly for me. @Georgine if you can request support for OpenSSL format keys, or at least a more descriptive error message, that would be great. Thanks!

It worked for me... almost. I was so happy finally getting the keygen converted (had to struggle with ACL on remote server where both NAS and SSH run) just to be even more disappointed having the same result in the end - key is rejected, whatever I tried (different file extensions - .pem and empty one, ssh-keygen or puttygen, empty passphraze and a complex one) thou password authentification works fine. Strangely enough, it seems like it needs zero time for Samsung Files to reject connection. I fear the problem is totally on Samsung client side.

The ability to apply schedules and presets makes the registration and configuration of multiple screens a simple experience. When the screens are paired with the VXT CMS, presets are automatically applied. Additionally, screens can be scheduled to turn on and off at desired times.

The digital signage remote management tools in VXT allow users to launch and manage content from anywhere, no matter how many screens are involved, and offer the ability to change hardware settings such as power on/off so screens work seamlessly with the content design.

The VXT RMS security management features let administrators establish strong security policies with lock options to prevent hacking attempts at the screens. Signage can be locked down so they are unable to read USB drives, make Bluetooth connections, or otherwise communicate with external networks.

Software updates can be deployed using VXT RMS (remote digital signage software), without needing to rely on staff at the location. Updates can be implemented almost instantly and rolled out to the entire network from a central location, ensuring screens are always using the latest software version and vulnerabilities are always addressed.

I noted that there are no questions about this, and it's sounding very strange.Anyway, I know the gemote project has been abandoned, so I'm wondering if anything similar has been developed. In brief, I would like to have a remote controller app in my Ubuntu PC to control my Samsung Smart TV connected to the same local network.

If you have lost your remote for your fire tv, (not related to firestick) and your TV is needing to be connected to the wifi. But you can't! Cause you don't have the remote. Then your like me, fml. However I was able to find a solution that worked!!!! I hooked a pc keyboard up through a USB port on the back of my TV, and was able to use that as a remote, find the wifi, and connect. Once my TV was connected the remote app for fire tv worked perfectly. Hope this helps! (BTW tried a mouse first with no success) KEYBOARD FOR THE WIN!

B. Connect 1 smart phone to old ip addresses network as hotspot and use a 2nd smartphone to connect to your current ip address where ur internet resides and properly is confiugured, you then must download an app known as the fire stick tv remote emulator once doing this ur firestick should be operable from the hotspot using old ip reset the network through the firestick and forget the previous configured Ip address on ur firestick then reboot the firestick and re connect it using the emulator controller on smartphone that has working wifi. problem should be solved, i however have not tryed or attempted this nor do i properly know that i explained it 100% accurately but its tedious so involves some reserch but iv seen positive responses.

then once its connected you should be able to connect it to your router and local internet using adb command prompt command lines, very easy to find on google the guide and commands. you can reconfigure the ip address for the firestick to connect it to a internet.

once all of this is complete plug the hdmi of ur firestick to your tv and use the keypad on ur adb to navigate through the firestick home interface to ur network to manually manage the internet connection without having to have a firestick amazon remote or application that wont work anyway unless its connected to a wifi connection in the first place. reboot firestick and enjoy ur repaired connection to your streaming device that is terribly designed for user friendly purposes.

or of course the last option if you have an ethernet adapter u can use it to connect ur firestick to a local network. I apologize for any false information i provided to the best of my knowledge I hope like heaven you get help from my info. if you could plese respond and leave feedback on a solution that worked for you involving *not having a firestick remote or anyway to connect it to an internet connection to navigate to change the old IP network* regards,
