Some basic comments about the site

Hey all, I just wanted to be sure you are clear on the site, and make
sure everyone is able to log in properly. If not, please PM me from
one of the three main forums that I'm involved with (Arnies, ASR, or
ACM Games), or create a new Google account, which you can do from the
log-in page.

A few more notes.

1. You can create nicknames from the "Edit my membership" link.
Please do not create inappropriate nicknames. Since this will be a
resource for the airsoft community, and we are all best known by our
forum handles, I recommend using the nicknames you have on your main
forum. But you all probably figured that out already.

2. What's your status here? As I've explained earlier, this is not a
forum, this is a project to create a manual with helpful and relevant
airsoft sniper-related information. So, status is as follows:

a. General public. You are the readers whom this project is aimed at
supporting. You are able to read all content, but not able to post.
This allows us to keep ONLY relevant information on this site, so that
it's easier to find what you are looking for. If you would like to
contribute, you may request to join. You may also ask one of the
members, who will review your work, and has the option of sending you
an invitation.

b. Members. You are the equivalent of staff writers for this
project. I will add names of all contributors to each guide. You are
able to post in the discussion section, and read all content. If you
would like to take a more active role in reviewing the material
submitted, you may send me a request to be given manager status.

c. Managers. You are the review editors of this project. It is your
responsibility to edit posts and make sure submissions are ready for
adding to the guide, and to edit and update the manual as we get more
information. You also can upload new files, and create new pages in
the manual. I request that you not change anything on the page
layout, to keep things consistent and easy.

d. Owners. Your task is to edit all content, help with organization,
and manage memberships.

issues. I'll be posting requests for some new pages soon as well.
