What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just anywhere I need to type, be it Layer Name, Frame Rate Duration, or
even when I try to give a name in Save As.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Nothing. Let's say the default frame rate duration is 100ms, I backspace
the already selected rate and try to type and while it does erase it
doesn't let me type in anything.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v0.9.5, Windows 8.1 32bit

Windows, you can attach the aseprite-memory.dmp file generated in the same
location where aseprite.exe is.*

I had first thought it was because I'm using a laptop and maybe it onnly
accepted numbers from the number pad but when I noticed that I couldn't
even name a layer then something was wrong. I've tried Google and this site
but I don't see anyone else with this problem. I've used the Function key
to enable the number pad but still nothing. I've also tried copy-pasting a
value but no menu pops out and ctrl+v doesn't work either.
