Bio:

Pradeep S. Nair is joining the Computer Engineering program. Dr. Nair received his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, San Antonio in July 2009. His research interests include Power/Performance tradeoffs in the nanoscale domain, Leakage power reduction in digital systems, Computer performance analysis and evaluation, and Low Power FPGAs. His teaching interests are in the areas of VLSI, Digital Systems, and Computer Engineering. This fall, he will be teaching Microcontrollers, Designing with VHDL, and Microprogramming and Embedded Processors.

hope this will provide Shreekant sufficient info to contact Dr Nair and invite the Student chapter to ASEI.

 

2. ASEI Non Profit Status

 

discussion was on a time line - Ibut I am starting this initial draft - request experts to review and enhance and follow-on

 

  1. Identification of necessary steps to receive the 501 c 3 status
  2. completion of all the forms
  3. gathering of necessary support documents
  4. submission of the package to the preparing agency
  5. submission of the package to the appropriate Government agency
  6. initial feedback from the Government agency
  7. receipt of the status approval notification
  8. completion of the process

 

Can we request Subba / Aaron to prepare a timeline with appropriate steps  (revise the above list or prepare your own)

include approximate lapse time for each step - understand this is an estimate - at least we will have a common understanding

maybe the agency preparing the documents can help
