TiE Conference Update

Subba and myself attended the 2 day TiE conference in San Jose last weekend.

 

Overall it was quite informative. Attached is the  list of exhibitors. I had already sent you a short version before we went to the meeting - by the way the info is accessible at the ASEI Google group site.

 

key results:

 

Potential list of speakers identified - request the track chairs to review and explore.

 

Medical Cloud  track - Potential speaker could be CJ Bhalla of Kaiser - maybe we can apprpach her to be the chair for this track also?

 

Key note speakers:

 

IBM - Met with IBM manager who has sent in a request to get the "Watson" architect Dr David Ferrucci (IBM Fellow)  to participate - while this maybe a stretch goal - we will strive for a team member.

 

HP - Subba has spoken to the VP of cloud computing at HP - Mr. Sandeep Johar. Subba is following up.

 

Google - like to hear of any luck contacting Dr Serf (I think Sasi or one of the other team member was contacting them). In addition like to contact the Product manager Marissa Mayer to see if one of her team memebrs can participate.
