All,

The 30 minute time interval worked out fine last year and works out fine for every engineering conference I have attended. If we dont get enough speakers then we can consider extending the duration of each talk. But for now we will leave it at 30 minutes.

We should have official coffee breaks, at specfiic intervals, NOT between every talk. That is disruptive to the flow of the conference. I have made a first attempt at that in the schedule I put together.

I have made a draft schedule in the attached spreadsheet in excel. I think we need to work with something visual. The attached also has the latest on the tracks. The tracks are listed below as well. We are still looking for two co-chairs, if you have any suggestions.

Technical Tracks Chair 1 Chair 2
Social Networking Sanjay Dalal Jeetu Maker
Cloud Computing Raj Neervannan Vijay Trehan
Virtualization Sunil Sanku TBD
Mobile Applications and Devices Naresh Dodda Praveen Atluri
Business Intelligence Murali Parthasarathy TBD

thanks for the discussions - looks like we are reaching consensus.

if 30 minutes is the standard let us go with it -  with maybe a 5 or 10 minute break between sessions - to cover a walk-over / chat /get coffee period

let us review and update the original program outline and see if the timing for keynotes and panels are ok.

at least we will have an overall structure now that has gone thru one iteration of review by all parties

can we put the names of tracks names of the leads and number of slots

let us target early next week to have version 1 of the initial program outline with initial set of names of Invited and proposed speakers

thanks team

let us know how we can help

regards

Anita

thanks for the update - the tracks and chair assignments are great

I have updated the Master Program outline (attached word doc) with the info from your message

request the team members to reveiw and continue to enhance

You are referring to an excel workshseet - was that attached to this message?

please advise

Subba and other fund raising team members

realize this is still an evolving list - you may want to consider setting a target date and levels of maturity expectations for you all to make your decisions.

that way we all have a common set of target dates and expectations

hope this helps

you all have a great afternoon

regards
