Special Meeting Sceduling - URGENT, PLEASE RESPOND

Greetings Region 3 Delegates, Officers and Constituents,

I have been asked to organize a special meeting to discuss and deal with the recent confusions plaguing the region. The earliest we can have the meeting is, unfortunately, Monday. In order to be as inclusive as possible, I am soliciting all of you to see when the best possible time and date would be to hold a meeting. I will make a final decision for the date and time tomorrow at noon. I ask that all of you try to be flexible with your scheduling options so that we can make quorum and resolve these issues.

Greetings Everyone,

According to the emails I received poll, the best scheduling day and time for our meeting is Tuesday at 6pm. I know it is not perfect, but I hope that those of you who cannot make it in person can phone in via teleconference. I will send out the official email, complete with set agenda by tomorrow at noon so that I can finalize our arrangements for meeting place and teleconferencing capabilities.

As far as I know, we have always avoided scheduling meetings when SSCCC conflicts arose. What makes this time any different? I know there are many of us who usually teleconference into these meetings as well.

I need to let this be known there are more than just Peralta, City College of San Francisco and DVC that's in this Region. As you know there is a SSCCC meeting tonight held by President Alex Pader at the same time.  Many of our Region members must attend that meeting and will not be able to attend this meeting at 6:00pm today and you know that.

 

You talk about some "maneuvering" and a power play this is so obvious this is what you call dirty politics. This meeting is exactly what it is a certain group of students and not all of Region 3 participants. I must say I'm really surprise of your leadership and the leadership of others. Some these students and schools also make have been involved in Region 3 for some time and they are part of the core that makes this a Region and they should have a voice also. 

 

The Region has become divided under your direction and it apparent you have been manipulated and good Leader leads and or not lead. This is really sad and disappointing. I will say this for the last time I did not resign and I'm not going to resign. In order to ensure to maintain transparency, integrity and a real voice for the student in this Region. You and no else will manipulate me or push me out. I know my rights and this needs to stop.
