Mr. Terrelonge will discuss concrete specification requirements that consistently present a challenge to ready mix producers. Various concrete and aggregate specifications will be compared to the ASTM standards and ACI specifications. Mr. Terrelonge will also discuss the specification requirements of ASTM C94, which is the governing code for ready-mixed concrete. Engineers equipped with this in-depth knowledge about improving concrete specifications will better be able to avoid issues that impact partnering, project cost and scheduling.
