Beginning with a brief history of the technology, this presentation reviews the basics of cellular concrete (as defined by ACI523). The audience will be exposed to exciting new applications, featuring both pervious and non-pervious cellular concrete. The presentation highlights global and local projects and how they relate to real world geotechnical challenges with emerging foam technologies. Attendees will learn the definition, and properties of cellular concrete, mix design requirements, and QA/QC testing procedures.
