Greetings,
I was able to attend the SAC meeting last night and confirmed that the working group's Intro Native Flower Garden pamphlet will be on the agenda for August. I was able to speak on it briefly and received a few notes I wanted to share.
First, they recommended that we include a QR code to link to a larger booklet with more detailed informed. I think that could fit nicely on the back.
They also suggested having more information on the native plant recommendations such their general water, sunlight, and spacing needs along with the best placement for them on the Property Regulations picture. I was thinking that we could model something like
this off of Xerxes pictures to easily digest without taking up a lot of extra space.
Finally, they also mentioned that if the City is able to sanction some Native Flower gardens that we could maybe feature them on the City's website as a way to advertise or include a residential "Garden of the week/month".
Let me know your thoughts when you get the chance and looking forward to our upcoming meeting on Thursday!
