Hi,

if i send following
http://web.alitora.com/ASAPI_REST/asapi/0001/xml/memory?sessionID=mysessionID

then i get an array filled with topic & relation.
I have some question about the return xml;

In my case i got every topic followed by a relation .
So what is the relation between them and is there always
#topic=#relation?
And how could i know which is parent and which is child ?

Thanks.

Hi,

the memory result set contains the topics, memes and relations that
connect them. The order of topics,memes and relations is not
guaranteed, and should be considered random. The root of the memory is
the user meme, however, it is not included in the results. To
reproduce the memory tree the analysis of relations is required,
especially sourceUMIS and destinationUMIS fields.

A typical memory tree may look like this:
Source meme:
relation:
Destination meme:
User_Meme (sourceUMIS=UserMeme.umis,
destinationUMIS=TOPIC_A.umis) Topic_A
User_Meme (sourceUMIS=UserMeme.umis,
destinationUMIS=TOPIC_B.umis) Topic_B
Topic_B (sourceUMIS=Topic_B.umis,
destiantionUMIS=Meme_01.umis) Meme_01
UserMeme (sourceUMIS=UserMeme.umis,
destiantionUMIS=Meme_02.umis) Meme_02

Let me know if you have more questions,
Derek

http://web.alitora.com/ASAPI_REST/asapi/0001/xml/memory?sessionID=mysessionID

What Will be the structure of memory now?

Hi,
in this case user UMIS is "Com.Memomics.AlitoraSystems.memomics.
1155507".
The memory tree is as follows:

Cyber Netikz (user meme):
Memory1 (topic):
Memory11 (topic)
Memory2 (topic):
Memory21 (topic)
Memory3 (topic)
Memory4 (topic)

Let Me Clear one thing. Is the reation umis means that it is the
relation of the previous topic .

For Ex.
if topic umis is 'Com.Memomics.AlitoraSystems.memomics.1155683'
then its relation will be described in the relation whose umis is
'Com.Memomics.AlitoraSystems.memomics.1155684'

if not then how do i know the which is the relation of a topic?
Coz you said at the first reply that

'The order of topics,memes and relations is not
guaranteed, and should be considered random.'

Hi,
the relation UMIS field has nothing to do with the topics etc. It is
simply an identifier.
A relation (edge) connects two nodes. There are two interesting
fields : sourceUMIS and destinationUMIS.
They say which 2 nodes this particular relation connects. The relation
is directed.
