@TH_K hi, sg user here too. you cant do that for Singtel, because the router they pass you also acts as their modem which they store the config to connect to the network. the ont also i think only allow for one router to LAN1 port at a time only. you have to connect your deco to the singtel router instead, is what im doing for my powerline as well. you can always call them to confirm this. or go hardwarezone forums got more info. this forum not a lot of SG users to help with this specific singtel issue
hi, using the deco app on my mobile phone, the setup process doesn't ask for any username nor password given by ISP. (I am using Singtel Fibre Broadband.) Halfway through the setup process, the main deco unit just displayed red LED light and indicated there was no connection to the Internet. I have connected by cable my main deco unit to the ONT.
@Meowbear Hi there, may I check which port did you connect to the router from the Deco M5? I'm also using Singtel ONT and Router setup with MIO TV Box. Facing the same issues getting my Deco M5 to get a blue light.
Hi, i think you can connect the Deco M5 directly to Singtel ONT now. Initially i faced the same issue as well when i plugged in my M5 directly to my Singtel ONT, and afterwards i did the same as what the solution here says - plugged the M5 into my Singtel issued router instead of my ONT.
However, i went to the singtel website and search about third party router and it says this.
Right from the box, I am trying to setup my Netgear Orbi router and I used the Orbi app to assist me. I am connected but the app requires me to login using "admin" and it says the default password is password. When I type in "password" it says Login failed.! It will not let me change admin. If I select "Forgot Password" it brings me to a page that says No such file or directory.
Your router contains a firewall that helps protect your home network from unwanted Internet activity. The firewall does this by blocking all incoming and outgoing connections that are not authorized. Some online games and programs will run much smoother if you have more connections (ports) opened up. The process of opening up more ports is called a port forward.
It is now time to login to the Aztech Singtel DSL7000GRV router. To do this you need to use a web browser. Usually it doesn't matter which browser you decide to use. We recommend picking one you are familiar with such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox or Edge.
If you don't see a authentication page asking for a username and/or password, it means the router has a different IP address. To find out what it is, follow the directions on this How To Find Your Router's IP Address page.
You might notice that most of our site doesn't have ads on it. This is because we use partnerships with companies like NordVPN to keep the site running. Thank you for supporting us by using our referral links.
Enter the IP address to forward these ports to into the Server IP Address box. If you are forwarding ports so you can run a program on a device other than your computer then you can enter your device's IP address into that box.
If you are forwarding a range of ports then you need to enter the lowest number of the range into the External Port Start and Internal Port Start boxes and the highest number of the range into the External Port End and Internal Port End boxes. If you are only forwarding a single port then you can enter that same port number into the External Port Start, External Port End, Internal Port Start and Internal Port End boxes.
Finally, you need to check if the ports forwarded like they were supposed to. To do this we recommend using our Open Port Checker found in our Network Utilities. Our port checker uses a local application to see if the ports are open, ensuring an accurate reading.

All you need to do is to reset your DSL7000GRV Singtel modem. This can be done easily by clicking on the reset button at the back or at the bottom of your router. If you hold down this small button for approximately 20 seconds, (you may have to use a toothpick), then your modem will get restored to the factory settings. What you need to keep in mind is that when you reset your modem, you will lose your connection online. It is therefore better to take an expert's assistance in this regard. Note: If you have not enough information, it is obviously recommended that you should get help from a person who has all the knowledge about this topic.
