simple use of youTube

I am not sure if this library is the appropriate place to start
looking for a way to build my simple youTube app.

I want to have videos that begin and end with links to other videos.

Hi,

You can surely do that... But I am not sure ActionScript or
FlashPlayer can work with YouTube API. YouTube has changed their API
and without a server-side proxy you can't work with it.

You need to write a smart video player that consumes a playlist or say
you want to show advertisement, it plays advertisements pre or post
video playbacks...Totally doable..

I tried creating a video in AfterEffects that had an embedded link to
a youTube video. Of course I had to turn it into a wmv file, which
presumably is why it doesnt work.
