We haven't worked out a formal process yet for joining a group.
Ideally, we want to have standards in place for processes like
submitting code, such as running the "test" build target first to make
sure everything passes before committing.
I'd say the best thing to do at the moment would be to create a patch
and submit it to the discussion group as a new topic. Be sure to
include any appropriate unit tests if your patch contains new features.
If you need help in creating a patch, let me know.
Then, after review, the patch will be incorporated into the trunk. At
that point, we'll probably add you as a "Project Member" to the Google
Code group, which will give you commit access to SVN and create/write
access to the Wiki as well. As long as you follow the standards then
for committing code (which don't exist yet), then we'll be fine. :-)
