AS3OpenNI 1.3.0 Mac Binary - Issues

Hi all,
I've been working on getting my xbox kinect and my MAC (10.6.8) working together.  I managed to install OpenKinect (libfreenect) and it worked great!  I built a demo with some basic functionality.

When I tried to extend myself in AS3Open NI I've hit continuous issue after issue.
Currently I've gotten OpenNI (1.5.4) and NITE (1.5.2.21) installed and got the OpenNI samples to work.

However when I run the provided Mac binary (I am assuming to start up the Socket Server) I get issues.
The common:
dyld: Library not loaded: ../../Bin/Release/libXnVNite.dylib

I resolved that by moving the installed dylib files to the relative path.

Once I do that I get
dyld: Symbol not found: __ZN17XnVSteadyDetector33ms_fDefaultMaximumAllowedVelocityE



This might be a simple fix if I do a rebuild of the CPP Source but there is no CMakeLists.txt provided (when using sudo ccmake)
I'm very new at the compiling and make files.  So I think maybe I am missing a step.  Is it possible to have a binary that works without tinkering or hex editing?

Some direction would be appreciated!
