Hi all,

as3openni looks very promising but I am a little confused how to get
the kinect working from Flash Builder.

The samples in NITE and OpenNI folder work fine but when I load the
examples from as3openni in Flash Builder and run them, nothing
happens.

I have the bin/AS3OpenNI_Alpha_1.3.0 in the bin-debug folder - am i
supposed to run this from Terminal? It throws an error when I try.

When I create a new Air application and initiate AS3OpenNI in
actionscript, nothing happens ( the AS3OpenNIEvent.READY event is not
received)

tl;dr

What are the steps to get AS3OpenNI working in Flash Builder?

Thanks for your help,

Sam

Okay so I am guessing before you can compile anything you have to have
the binary running, from Terminal and from the binary's folder:

./AS3OpenNI_Alpha_1.3.0 -ogf -otpf -tpc 4 -tpr 1 -odmc -aso

In Terminal I now see:

AS3OpenNI :: Gesture feature turned on
AS3OpenNI :: TrackPad feature turned on
AS3OpenNI :: TrackPad Columns: 4
AS3OpenNI :: TrackPad Rows: 1
AS3OpenNI :: DepthMapCapture feature turned on
AS3OpenNI :: All sockets are off
AS3OpenNI :: Session Progress
AS3OpenNI :: Session Progress
AS3OpenNI :: Session Progress
AS3OpenNI :: Session Started

Unfortunately, even when I still compile in debug mode only this is
returned in the console:

Info (AS3OpenNI :: Alpha 1.3.0)

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Maybe someone else is having the same
issues...

Thanks all :)
