Hi,
This morning I rushed to the bank to deposit a few nice checks. Any how, I hand my deposit slip, and it was somewhat sizable when the friendly teller looks at me with a big smile and says...
... "We here would like to help you save more money and put more back in your pocket, when would be a good time for you to sit down with one of our specialists... today or tomorrow?"
Well, I must say they are getting better.
Hitting on the hot button of most people about saving money and putting some cash in our pocket... and finishing off with a closing question the answer to which still gets an appointment for them... I'd say that's pretty impressive for a bank.
A heck of a lot better than the line they used before, "Would you like an IRA (individual retirement account)?"
But you see because of my extensive study in financial services, I know that banks are ALWAYS up to no good.
The whole banking industry is an outright scam, but that's too deep of a topic for me to get into here, however I was curious as to what genius plan the "banksters" came up with this time to help us "save money".
So I asked a few probing questions and sure enough what it came down to is either a insurance plan or a CREDIT CARD (which best suits to them) with some "cash back" bonus on all your spending.
How generous of them.?????
The more we spend, the more they'll give us back.
Sounds pretty darn innocent and even sincere, especially coming from a really nice lady (which herself is being exploited by her so called seniors) with a big smile.
Problem is...
"they" know that once you got this magic "money pumping" card (money pumping for them) in your hands, MOST people will start spending more than they can afford and that's when they GET YOU.
The 1% or whatever cash back is nothing compared with the 27.99% in interest they plan on charging you later.
And once you're in, you are IN. if we cancel, our order even then for one or other reason that will not materialized and we have to pay monthly or yearly charges. Not pay but they will deduct automatically from our account.
That's the plan, get us in debt and KEEP us in debt.
While they smile all the way to the bank :).
Why am I talking all this?
Because right now the global economy is on a verge of a big disaster.
Actually multiple disasters. The economy is NOT getting much better. The unemployment rate is STILL high. Inflation in spite of the "official" government reports is climbing.
And so on...
Point is.. NO ONE is really helping the public.
Not the government and definitely not the banks.
All are exploiting worker by taxes or many other means and feeding lazy, non workers ..
In my opinion the ONLY way for the average person to get ahead is with the "right" kind of education and a good opportunity.
Which is why what we do matters.
Not just to OUR financial situation, but to the lives of the many people who we'll touch along the way.
It's no secret that most people who come into our business will not do much.
But we know what... if they get even a small amount of this "right" kind of education, about thinking the right way, planning for the future, having a vision... if they catch the entrepreneurial bug and move on to start their own business outside of the MLM company that introduced them to it...
... does that not matter?
Did they NOT benefit greatly?
Of course they did.

Which is why we should feel good about what we do.
There are going to be people along the way who will criticize us and try to put down what we're doing.
Don't let them get to us.
A few years with a decent Network Marketing company will do anyone a heck of a lot more than a 4 year degree which will only set you back Rs 25000/- PM or more and not teach us a thing about what it REALLY takes to make money.
