Dear friends,
the organization Associazione Studenti per la Città, based in Italy, would like to invite you to participate as partner to the project "DemocrACTIVE".
Below you have the description of the project:
"The project is a youth exchange that will involve 42 participants coming from 6 countries from the 2 till the 9 of October 2016 and will take place in Nurri, Italy. Nowadays young people are considered as a fundamental resource for the future of the European Union. Developing and adopting policies to meet their expectations, it seems an indispensable factor to contribute to the process of cultural, social, economic and professional development. This project aims at encouraging young people and civil society organizations to undertake a discussion and a comparison on the following themes: European citizenship, promotion of civic engagement and participation.
Main objectives: to promote participation in democratic life in Europe and attracting young people to the Community institutions, through the promotion of volunteering as a crucial tool in the development of a sense of commitment to the socio-political development of their community. Through non formal education and an informal approach we will create a dynamic and interactive environment where participants will develop new skills and attitudes such as ability to work in teams and in a multicultural environment, ability to listen and reflect, develop new ideas and put them practically.
If you would like to be partner of the project, please fill:
- The mandate in attachment with the data of your organization (in yellow you have the parts to be filled). We kindly ask you to send us back this document in Word format as we will have to create a unique PDF file for the final application.
- The Partner Identification Form, with the information of your organization and the experience you developed in the field of active participation.
We kindly ask you to send us back the documents by 24th of January
