 What  If...  ?

 

What if I trust you, will you hurt me? What if I allow you into my heart am I a fool? What if we someday we grow apart; will I survive? What if we become US, does that scare you? Can you understand my doubts? Do you see my fear in this? Is it the loving or the leaving I fear? Help me to believe we are real. Rescue and heal my trampled heart. Or leave me now, before the hurting starts. Don't lead me to heartbreak, I beg you. What if I am lost, will you find me? What if we do this, will you stay? What if it's right?  What if it's wrong? What if we belong here if only for today? What will we lose if we don't try?
