search by date?

Any word on when or if the api is going to allow for search by date?
I'd love to make use of such a feature and not have to go through the
oai system.

although there is a confusion between EST and GMT in the time stamps

Ah I see it searches by GMT stamp and the docs are returned in EST.

I also note that today I tried to search for papers appearing on
Monday (or Sunday night's) mailing (3/23) and these are not showing
up:

due to the server issues over the weekend, the index wasn't properly
updated -- we are working on getting everything back to normal
