using the API to do "Catchup"

Is there a "Catchup" query via the API? Say,
http://arxiv.org/catchup?smonth=4&group=grp_&sday=9&num=50&archive=hep-th&method=without&syear=2008
but knowing what fields we can use.

If we want to keep some database up to date, I would prefer to use the
catchup instead of the old-fashionated email way.

(This time I was thinking of a social network browsing for papers and
authors, where a page for an author should show a "friends box"
listing his/her coauthors).

Hey Alejandro,

You have a great suggestion. We are currently (and have been for a
while) working on date filtering and querying based on e-print posting
date - sorry for the delay. Once it is up and running, you should be
able to use that functionality to perform a catchup query. I will
keep you posted about the progress.

Hi Alejandro,

Depending on what you mean by keeping a database up to date, you should probably
use the OAI-PMH interface (http://arxiv.org/help/oa/index) as that will reflect
ANY change in the metadata (even an admin correction to an author name or similar
which would not generate an announcement and not show via the API).

ListRecords From seems useful too.
