Date range queries

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the last 2 days worth of entries from astro-ph.CO.
I think I must be missing fundamental here. The following query
returns a list of entries:
http://export.arxiv.org/api/query?search_query=cat:astro-ph.CO+AND+lastUpdatedDate:[201112021159+TO+201112051159]&max_results=10000&sortBy=submittedDate&sortOrder=descending
There are entries with updates on 12/05 so I know papers were
submitted today (12/05).

The second query:
http://export.arxiv.org/api/query?search_query=cat:astro-ph.CO+AND+lastUpdatedDate:[201112031159+TO+201112051159]&max_results=10000&sortBy=submittedDate&sortOrder=descending
returns zero entries. Not even the ones submitted today. The two
queries differ by only a single character (201112031159 vs
201112021159). 201112031159 is on a Saturday, but surely that
shouldn't matter, right?

Any ideas about what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

anything received after Friday 4pm EST is published tonight, Monday 8pm EST

so there are no new papers (which have been released) from Sat-Sun
