Regression in OAI-PMH verb ListRecords ?

Dear All,

  I am wondering whether anyone else experienced issues with OAI-PMH API lately? I am having trouble in particular with the ListRecords verb.

  I found that a blank ListRecords request, such  as ::

  curl "http://export.arxiv.org/oai2?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=arXiv"

seems to take very long to return (several minutes to seemingly forever) and if I try to avoid the full query by specifying a 'from' date I keep getting an error :: 

 curl "http://export.arxiv.org/oai2?verb=ListRecords&from=2013-09-25T00:00:00Z&metadataPrefix=arXiv"

  Can anyone reproduce this behavior? Other OAI-PMH providers work fine from my location. Any pointers?

Export machine has been a bit overloaded lately, we are working on it....

You are attempting to supply of date with hh::mm::ss and arXiv supports only day granularity of datestamps, see

 http://export.arxiv.org/oai2?verb=Identify and http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/openarchivesprotocol.html#SelectiveHarvestingandDatestamps

   cool, thanks. Looks like it is working quite well right now. I considered the date only version before but that didn't return anything either so it was difficult to make out the reason. Shouldn't the error message ideally contain a hint towards the accepted format?
