Onwards and upwards! Here's how 2019 will be the best Copper Triangle yet.

New for 2019: Three timed climbs

Copper Triangle has never been shy on challenge: scaling three 10,000-plus-foot passes is no joke.

But if you want to up the ante, this year we have timed segments for two of those passes — Fremont (Elev. 11,318’) and Vail (Elev. 10,662’) — plus a third segment on Battle Mountain (Elev. 9,1852’).

All riders will get a number plate to mount on their handlebars (not a frame sticker like in years past) with an embedded timing chip. Once you get to the finish, check your times against those of the other thousands of riders. The top three women and men will win prizes, with scoring based on the lowest cumulative times.

Don't care about timing? No problem! Just ignore it! We're all going to have a great day on the bike.

Included: your choice of a jersey or a hoodie

A gorgeous and hot-weather-friendly jersey or a cozy hoodie? There is no wrong choice here.

Camp Hale + Red Cliff

Highlights of the route include Camp Hale, training ground for the legendary 10th Mountain Division and the iconic Red Cliff Bridge (shown above). Look for Camp Hale trivia signs on the road.

Alpine Celebration

A tasty Italian catered lunch is included in your registration. Enjoy that with live music from The Hip Abductions, and be sure to check out the beer garden and cool displays from brands like Shimano and Mavic.

Davis Phinney Foundation

We are proud to support the Davis Phinney Foundation with a portion of every registration fee. Thank you for helping people with Parkinson's Disease live well.
