Course Overview

 

Performance management is a strategic approach to creating and sustaining improved performance in employees, leading to an increase in the effectiveness of companies and organizations.

By focusing on the development of employees and the alignment of company goals with team and individual goals, managers can create a work environment that enables both employees and companies to thrive.

In practice, performance management means that management is consistently working to develop their employees, establish clear goals, and offer consistent feedback throughout the year.

 

Objectives of the course

 

ü  To ensure performance is planned at before or at the beginning of the year

ü  To incapacitate participants with the know how to build a performance culture.

ü  To gain understanding of cascading organization objectives from higher levels to lower levels.

ü  To ensure participants know how to set SMART goals

ü  To enlighten participants with skills of conducting effective performance progress meeting

ü  To assist participants to gain understanding of performance appraisal process.

ü  To prepare participants with skills of handling performance appraisal meeting.

ü  To prepare participants to have skills for being objective in rating performance.

ü  To enlighten participants with the ability to link performance appraisal results with different HR decisions.

ü  To deal with underperformers by developing performance improvement plan, monitoring and evaluating performance during the period.

ü  Goal Setting, how to set SMART goals and objectives.

ü  Drivers of excellence performance

ü  How to conduct performance progress/review

ü  Performance appraisal process

ü  Performance Appraisal Meeting

ü  Objectivity in Rating performance

ü  Linking performance results to different HR decisions

ü  Dealing with under-performers

ü  Practical problems in performance management by line managers and staff and solutions suggested

The course is practical oriented and therefore designed to provide competencies on Performance Management to the following groups;

ü  Human Resources Practitioners

ü  Line Managers

ü  Head of Departments

ü  Organization C.E.Os

ü  Any other persons.

 

Trainers

 

Prepare to meet with Expert and experienced Trainers with diverse background on both profit and non-profit organizations.
