Ongeza is looking for a Logistics Sales Coordinator who can coordinate sales of logistics and transport services to new and existing clients across the country.

 

A suitable candidate must have a proven track record in planning, sales and logistics management . 

 

The General Role Description:

Logistics Sales Coordinator will ensure that the company supports the needs of its new and existing clients across the country.  As a logistic sales coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting new clients across the country as well as managing transport agents and trucking companies.

 

 

 

You will be leading a team of drivers and agents to achieve the following:

 

• Recruit and manage existing logistics clients.

• To ensure appropriate grooming of drivers.

• Coordinate and communicate with outside trucking companies.

• Coordination with other departments to avoid customers complain and maximize client satisfaction by providing transport services at satisfaction.

• Daily update of movement trucks movement chart on the company system,

• Ensure  recruitment of new drivers, rates negotiation for vehicle hired from other companies in coordination with your direct supervisor

• Ensure all vehicles comply with statutory requirements

• Fueling report using the excising systems, vehicle maintenance reports.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Desired Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

 

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position

• Good analytical skills 

• Diploma in sales and logistics  or business administration

• Extensive knowledge and experience of sales of transport services.

• Good communication skills Swahili, English a bonus.

• Excellent Knowledge in android applications

• Excellent planning/organizing and prioritizing skills.

• Leadership and mentorship skills shall be an added advantage

• Knowledge about Tanzania road networks, distance and status of the roads 

• Research skills is an added advantage.
