Posting the question related broadcasting Audio on FB live.

I was wondering if there is a way I could broadcast the sound through Artsmesh with Mir doing a live accompaniment for me on Percussion. I wanted to check if there is a way we could broadcast it on FB and how would be the routing connections be like in order to do that.

Shreyas-

You need to use OBS.  you’ll copy the streaming key from FB into OBS.  You open OBS after you’ve opened Artsmesh and it will show up on your routing circle.  Then all you need to do is route your outputs to OBS, or even better route it to a DAW, and then to OBS.  You will need to figure out latency though, You’ll have to correct the video latency so it aligns with your sound output.  This can be done in OBS itself, or you can try to do it in your DAW.

EpocCam works as a webcam if you want to use your phone as a camera.  If you have a  good camera that you want to use you will probably need an HDMI capture device.

I’m not exactly sure yet how to get a split screen video output into OBS, maybe someone else can answer that?

hi,
thanks for reporting your experiences on broadcasting!

I wonder if facebook live default broadcaster will see jackrouter as audio source.
split screen: broadcast your zoom window - that’s one way.

artsmesh has a work flow mostly using youtube live.
I wonder if you can then embed the youtube live stream into facebook? probably.

You can paste your youtube live feed into the social panel and the Project profile tab.
then click the “broadcast: button in the project profile.
then look at the map and click on your dot on the map. should show the youtube live feed
in the popup window.
