Hi team,

Thank you all for your participation in Wednesday's discussion of CAPITAL B. As discussed/agreed on, I suggested to Jonah that we reframe the Coalition Organizer agreement so that I am doing that work personally, rather than Arts in Bushwick serving as a Coalition Organizer.

Arts in Bushwick is now a Coalition Partner for CAPITAL B, for which we will be receiving $1,000. In return, CAPITAL B needs to partner with Arts in Bushwick on our three festivals: BETA Spaces, SITE Fest, and Bushwick Open Studios. We will also be responsible for having a representative (or more than one!) at the CAPITAL B monthly meetings.

I personally will be serving as the Coalition Organizer. For this, I will receive $4,000. As a Coalition Organizer, I will continue to do the ongoing work of CAPITAL B, including more frequent meetings, assisting with CAPITAL B events, surveying, research assistance, etc.

Due to my involvement with Arts in Bushwick, I will still be sending out calls to volunteers and calls to fill out surveys (etc.) through the AIB eblast -- just as we would do for any other group that solicited us in an appropriate way.

If you have any further thoughts, please let me know. This is the plan as drawn up during the last AIB meeting, suggested to Jonah, and agreed upon by all.

Best,
Chloë

Fabulous!!!  Great work, this seems like the best possible outcome all around.  :)  Would love to talk about what partnership on the festivals means - maybe we can up our "community" work and do some visible events about some of the "sustainability" issues in concert with CAPITAL B?
