SITE Preparations + Updates

Hey AIB,

For those of you following along at home, I wanted to give an update about what's going on with SITE:

1. We set our dates. The festival will take place March 6 - 7, 2010.

2. ionSOUND, our fabulous music festival, will occur on the same dates.

3. We are still solidifying our hub spaces for the festival. Last year, the SITE hubs offered consistent programming, as well as a place for visitors to get maps, information, use the bathroom, and donate (hurray!) to Arts in Bushwick. We are looking to have fewer hubs than last year (probably two in addition to Goodbye Blue Monday, which hosts ionSOUND).

4. Due to ongoing website struggles, we hope to be hosting SITE content at artsinbushwick.wordpress.com. If you are the person who has the log-in name and password for this blog, please email it to me (ch...@artsinbushwick.org) and Lee (l...@boswyckfarms.org) ASAP. Thanks!

5. We are still seeking people to assist with the following: sponsorship (committee run by Tara Ferri), hub space and tech management (contact me or Lee), web (wordpress design and content), press (committee run by Ali Aschman), and fliering. Plus other things.

The call to artists will open sometime between January 10 and 15.

I will be back in the country on January 20, but will be working remotely as best I'm able.
