Dear friends,
It is with great pleasure that we present to you ZVRK, the very first international contemporary dance festival in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina !
The Festival will take place from the 17th to the 22nd of September 2008 in theatre SARTR and in the Sarajevo National Theatre.
Under the artistic direction of Jasmina Prolic, our programme includes 12 performances, artists from 10 different countries, includ ing Susanne Linke from Germany, workshops for professional dancers and for the general public, a photography exhibition, video projections, round tables and discussions with the choreographers, improvisations in public spaces, and a presentation of the project NOMAD that the festival is part of.
It is our pleasure to invite you to this historical event and to share the excitement of this important step in the development of contemporary dance in BiH!
