Hello Everyone!
ABC/NY has been quite active this summer—a Roundtable Session for our beloved ALI cohort, unveiling the Business Committee for the Arts Survey at Municipal Arts Society, two Foundation Center Workshops with Marti Fischer, an ELNYA Culture Club at The NY Philharmonic (with a backstage talk with Wynton Marsalis!), and attending the Americans for the Arts Convention in Pittsburgh, PA. As if that wasn’t enough, our Multicultural Arts Management Internship Program began its 13th consecutive year under Con Edison’s patronage.
We have accepted 11 students into our Intern Program after conducting nationwide recruiting to bring the best and brightest to our member arts organizations. Some of you have been hosts in the past (Atlantic Theater Company, Bronx Museum of the Arts, Fractured Atlas, Harlem Arts Alliance, Queens Theatre in the Park) some are hosts in the present (Free Arts NYC, WNYC) and one of you is presently a business mentor (Michele Saliola, Judd Foundation)!
We love keeping those in our network abreast of ABC’s current events! To follow along as we attend intern site visits, host member events, create Emerging Leader programs, and engage in professional development, please follow us on Twitter @ArtsBizNY.
See you online!
