Hello everyone!
I hope you all are having a great fall so far. I know everyone has been very busy with work and back to school, but we're now at about a year out from the gala! The new website is now available for you all to take a look at. There are still a few tweaks to be made (such as adding a photo to the top section next to the logo, and updating the ticket prices) but it is operational. Please click here to take a look at the new website and give your feedback! The folks over at Crowdrise have been working closely with Sarah and I to make sure that every last detail is perfect, and we've been very happy with how responsive they've been. Our biggest goal has been to make sure the donation and ticket-buying processes are as simple and clear as possible. Please let us know what you think!

This is fantastic, Elizabeth! Quick question. Next to the model pictures will there be room for them to put a personalized paragraph in order to make it even more meaningful?

Absolutely! The models who do the best always have some nice personalized appeal. We wouldn't take that away.

As Sarah said, definitely yes! Also, one of the very cool things is that not only can they add their own text, they can actually put in lots of pictures. So if you were walking the runway, you'd be able to not only put in photos of you walking the runway in previous years, you could also add in pictures of your family :) I think this is great for people who have personal connections. I just edited the General Donations "team" page to show you what it looks like when text and multiple photos are added (click here)

Oh, one other thing - we'll also be adding in a tab that's "About the Gala" that will have all the logistical information (date, location, contact info, etc) in one place so that it's all easy to find.

This is sensational! I think the brand of the Gala just jumped up in sophistication - tenfold! You guys are amazing. :)

What great news! The new web site looks wonderful. Thank you and Sarah for all of your hard work in putting this together and taking the lead on this project Elizabeth! I think the Gala has grown each year and has now reached a new level. Hopefully this new platform will be much more intuitive and user friendly resulting in increased donor contributions!As I had mentioned to you in one of our meetings, Crowdrise is a company that I am familiar with and follow on Facebook. I will give you additional feedback after I have had a chance to look at the website more thoroughly. I look forward to seeing you and Sarah at the fundraising event in Old Town this evening!

This looks great! I like that it is so much more user friendly and obvious where to go to donate to the models, rather than listing their names on the main page. I'll look more closely soon and provide more feedback.
