Calling All Monterey Bay Area Artists:
Help us celebrate Salinas Arts Day Oct 2, 5pm-8pm. Free booth space on Main Street to show and sell your work during the 1st Fridays Art Walk! Advance notice for participating artists waived for Oct 2!

The First Friday in October is California Arts Day, and kicks off National Arts & Humanities Month. in 2008 Mayor Donohue proclaimed the 1st Friday in October Salinas Arts Day, & we are celebrating with over 50 venues featuring local art, live music, and children's art projects.

The Arts Council for Monterey County, First Night Monterey, the City of Salinas, and 1st Fridays Art Walk are collaborating to make this special event happen.

Quick Facts:
Set-up 4pm-5pm,
Event: 5pm-8pm
Tear down: 8pm-9pm
Free Booth Space: First Come First Served - Reserve now!
Liability Waiver: Must bring signed copy to event (Advance notice waived for Oct.2)
Artist provides: Tables, easels or other display means, canopy, business cards.
