I think i definitely prefer to use this Group site rather than a blog.
Thanks Jaymie.
It just takes a little time experimenting with it.

One thing I just discovered that helped me see the discussions is if
you are looking at a Post and you want to see all the replies, go to
"More Options" just above the post in the blue bar and click on "Show
Message List."

There may be other helpful features if you click around on things.

Also, you can get updates emailed to you.

Also, I think we should put our photos on our profiles!

JAymie, if you have power to remove my "lunalupina" account... please
feel free to do that as i didn't really meant to set that one up.

We can also pick nicknames! i was thinking .... .... actually, I
have no good ideas!

It also appears that you can choose with thread or post you'd like to
keep an eye on by having it send you emails specific only to that
post.

yeah - i think I do too - my only lament is that i really want a way
to sort - there's nothing that i can find on here that can put the
discussions into categories - i've been uploading things from the web
that i want to share into the pages section also - and .... like with
this family guide that i'm working on - it can be used to get
everyone's input -

if you don't want to get an email every time something new is posted
you can change your setting by going to "Edit my membership" which is
on the side bar to the right.

in the subject line be descriptive and specific - for example I used
"yesterdays impromptu meeting" in the subject line. That does not
really tell you anything if you don't know what it was referencing.
This post is titled "Post ideas here for using this site" which tells
you exactly what it's for. I think it would be best to try to add on
to an older relevant posts instead of creating a brand new discussion
if we don't have to - am I making any sense???

that makes sense. Use current topics/threads if it relates to what
you want to say. Make a new one if it does not. Be specific in the
title of your subject so others understand. :-)
