Hello all,

Excitement when opening the kiln as I put all my glaze samples on the
top shelf! Woohoo! I love colors & these will look really good in my
creative space!
Will show them in my Flickr when I get a chance to put them on my
wall.
And will also show you the new rack I bought to put in my work space –
it’s SO handy not having everything spread all over the house! :)

I had a chat with my secret partner last friday and we decided on the
things that we will use for sure. My secret partner will try out a few
things here and there and see what else will work. Some designs will
need some more tweaking so I know what to do. I can’t wait to see the
first pictures of my partner’s trials.
I’ll be producing what we have decided on, fire it porcelain
temperature and sent it off so she can make the final product, take
pictures and list it. All creations will be listed in her shop. We
don’t have a particular launch date yet so it will show up whenever
it’s ready. :)
Curious for more? Look at this post:

The weekend was spent at home: running some errands, walking, having
mom over for a visit, cleaning, making a tutorial, listing my Sales
Fairy (excitement for the European Streetteam), sanding feelings,
working on new and cute stuff, thinking a bit more about packages for
the secret squirrel gifts, doing my numbers, preparing blogposts, …
*sigh* It kind of felt like I need another weekend!

Then on monday I decided to take a computerfree day. Can’t believe how
much work I got done – must do more of these soon.
I started making some fun creatures for the holiday season. Late
perhaps?
Well, they stay cute even after Christmas. :)
They are not-feelings-not-traditional-holiday-ooak-babuschka's. I made
10 and it was so fun to make a different kind of babuschka. Hopefully
will be able to list them next week.

Too bad I can’t show you the shaving cup I made since it didn’t come
out of the kiln OK – the bottom exploded.
They are too much work to make for my shop but I’m sure I’ll make one
sometime later when I have some more time on my hands. I think it will
look extremely stylish in a bathroom. Too bad it didn’t come out OK.
But my bucket of ‘not-OK’s’ is getting filled – LOL!

And I hope to list buttons to my shop soon too. You can read about
that here:

But first, I need to fill up the kiln to fire it… Sometimes I think my
kiln is too big for all the little things I make and it takes me
forever to fill it… but I have a hard time firing it when it’s half
empty because of the waste of energy and the cost of electricity.
Better get back to work quick! :)

Hope you are all in good spirits and enjoying life!
Happy weekend to you all!
Love,
Mitsy
