Hello all,

After I posted a picture of my Babette blanket in my blog with the
question if people had thoughts on the border color, I did not expect
such large response.
Funny thing is too that lots of answers are different so I still had a
hard time deciding which color to use. I have decided now but I can’t
finish off the blanket because the shop did not have the yarn in
stock.
So I finished another project which I will show on satuday – make sure
to check it out, it’s fun!

I managed to fill up the kiln and fire it over the weekend which meant
that my week started with unloading the kiln. Oh joy, all came out OK:
samples, secret squirrel gifts, buttons & new sculptures. What a good
start of the week. I knew I would be busy sanding and photographing
the new ‘Oh Deer’- line before I could list them on Etsy.
It was so much fun working on these – I think I was smiling all the
time!
And more fun is that I got so much sweet comments on them too. I’m so
glad that my work makes people smile.
I still have some other holiday goodies waiting to be listed but it
needs a porcelain firing first. I realise I need to do it quick
otherwise it will be too late to list on Etsy.
I hope to get it done this weekend.

Last sunday I made and posted a fun ‘how to make recycled bags’-
tutorial in my blog. Perfect little bags to use for fairs & markets.
Check it out if you have a chance.

In case you want to see the sample tiles I fired a few weeks ago, I
have put ‘em on my wall in my studio now. Such a colourful sight! Love
‘em!

On wednesday, I have been busy retrieving old images from my recycle
bin on my laptop. A publisher from HongKong wanted to use some images
from me to publish in a book. Well, some was quite a lot: 28 images.
The stupid thing is that as soon as I have edited the pictures, I
throw the RAW files away as they take up too much memory. But they
needed the RAW files. *sigh* Oh well, I did manage to find and send
most of it so I hope that some of them will be used.

Yesterday I wrapped up the secret squirrel gifts. They will be flying
off to Norway, Turkey and Australia & I hope they will be loved.
I also got an invitation to take part in an art exchange. I have so
much work right now that I should have said no but I could not resist
so I decided to do it.
Should be fun though & I’ll be blogging about it to keep you updated.

And don’t miss out on this weeks Secret project post, it might set you
on the right track guessing who my partner is…
