Hello all,

First real newsletter of 2010!
Hope you all had a lovely time during the holidays and are ready for
the new year.

I worked a lot during the holidays. It was fun to work on new things &
to feel the joy of creating.
My mind was set on Valentine, not that I’m all that romantic, but I
know there are people who love to celebrate & give a nice gift to
their loved one.
If you have peek into my shop, you’ll see all the new additions that I
made. http://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtMind
Lots of it is made with paper porcelain clay which is quite a new
field for me as I am more used to work with ceramic and regular
porcelain clay.
I also slip casted some of these pieces (the lace lights).

The most exciting event from the past week was definitely the launch
of the collaboration project with Anna from LilaRubyKing.
After months of secretly working together, it was heaps of fun to
finally show off our work.
You can find all of our collaborative pieces here:

All the lovely comments on our work made us glow and grow. It’s
amazing to have such wonderful people out there who make us feel this
way. I’m sure lots of them are reading this newsletter too, so thank
you for being so super!
At the moment, Anna is hard at work to show new designs on February
2nd.
I shipped a big package of goodies for her to play with as well. :)

And since I launched the singing birds in my shop, I can’t keep up
with making, sanding, assembling them. Thank goodness it’s a fun
problem! :)
A new to open shop in Melbourne is going to try to sell these birdies
so let’s hope that these will be popular on the other side of the
globe.
How fun is it for a tiny home business to have work all over the
world. I think it’s fantastic!

And on the crochet side? I got my red yarn to finish off the border of
my Babette blanket.
Jip, that’s it, no more. Just don’t seem to have time to crochet these
days.
Which is sad because I really love it.
Perhaps I might do some tonight and surprise you in my saturday
crochet post on my blog… ;)

Oh, and if you have a spare moment to read just how cheeky I am…

Happy weekend to you all!
Love,
Mitsy
