Hello all,

What a joy to look back at this past week. After all the crazy busy
weeks it felt good to take things a step slower. I will continue doing
so for a bit as it’s necessary to spend some time for home and body
too.
Although I did plan to work in the garden this week, it’s still too
cold to do so. I’m so fed up with this cold weather & hope it will
come to an end soon. Besides, I can’t wait to clean up our garden, put
our garden set out, sit in the sun and paint my bike lime.

The two days before the fair were still very hectic as I was finishing
off the display for the collaboration jewellery and getting everything
wrapped up to go. You can see the display here, I think it turned out
fab.

You can also read a little report on the fair in my blog if you like:

Markets and fairs are super exciting to participate as you have direct
contact with people and it’s great to hear what they think of your
stuff.
Sometimes, the silliest questions are asked and that just cracks me
up.
Here are a few:

· so, what do you do with these things? Paint them? (about my
feelings)
· do those birds really sing? (about the singing birds - price tag
said singing birds)
· is this a pinchushion? (about my feeling cursed which is a voodoo
like doll)

What I drag most is the clean up after the market: doing the numbers
and putting all the stuff away. I wish I lived in a big enough house
to just stick it into a room and get it out again for the next fair.
But everything needs to be counted and inventorised to know what I
need to make more off.
I’m glad that I decided to sell Dutch cards as they were a success.

I got a reply from the college to my inquiry about plagiarizing my
work.
The message was from a professor who was downright negative, arrogant
and defensive so I decided to leave it like this, get back on my horse
and move on. There is no point in taking this a step further. I want
to focus on things that matter to me, create and not keep busy trying
to go after a bad copycat. This is a useful link that really helped me
just in case this might ever happen to you:

I was also very eager to take out my ripple blanket and start
crocheting again. Bliss! Not that much progress yet but at least
something to show you in my saturday crochet post.

Happy weekend to you all!
Love,
Mitsy
