September 30th: Call for Exhibition Proposals: Box 13 Art Space
BOX 13 ArtSpace, the artist-run, non-profit, and innovative environment for the creation and advancement of experimental contemporary art in Houston is currently accepting proposals for the 2026 exhibition calendar. They are accepting exhibition proposals for their two downstairs galleries, the Window BOX gallery, and the Upstairs gallery. Artists and curators are invited to submit proposals for exhibitions not previously shown in Houston.

September 30th: The Dorothy Antoinette Laselle Travel Fellowship
Recognizing the impact that travel can have on an artist’s career, the Dorothy Antoinette LaSelle Foundation has established the Dorothy Antoinette LaSelle Travel Fellowship. In the fall of 2025, two awards of $5,000 each will be distributed to visual artists working and residing in the state of Texas, enabling the recipients to complete a research trip to further their artistic practice.
