Al,

Interesting style with the brush. I think the composition could be a little better. There is a little bit of negative space on the bottom. The sailboat is in the direct center, and you have the (sun) in the top right hand corner. I liked the colors of the sun, but blue sort of competes with the red. Try adding some green to the water to bring it into a better view, besides the dark sky blends with the color of the water. And always try to not have any white spaces on thre canvas (the eye is drawn to them). But I think you did ok.
